I use a variety of techniques to analyze and correct elements of the musculoskeletal system. The body is a single unit and any imbalance in one part can largely affect other parts — other systems — and affect your physical and mental state.
Body work sessions include an analysis of the body (e.g. joints, muscles, ligaments, fascia (connective tissue)) and corrective treatment. Additionally, I will show you ways in which you can complement our sessions through lifestyle changes/improvements and specific exercises.
My interest in body work stems from my background as a physical therapist in Germany, where I am originally from. From 2010 to 2016 I worked in a highly regarded clinic in Munich where I treated people with a large variety of ailments. I worked with many professional athletes on injury rehabilitation and prevention — and was the team trainer for 1860 Munich (Second division soccer Team in Germany) and the FC Bayern Munich Basketball Youth Team (U-18). While in Munich I met a girl from Rhode Island. We got married, had a baby boy, and recently moved across the ocean to our current home in Rhode Island.
I am passionate about my work and always knew that I wanted to have my own business where I could help people understand their body imbalances, correct and coach them to feeling better. I aim to reduce pain and improve mobility significantly after a few sessions, but have had clients see improvements after just a single session. I am very interested in working with you to understand and strengthen your body, improve mobility, and rid you of unnecessary pain.
